Pakistan Army Chief Accused Afghans of Involvement in Terror Attacks
The army chief of staff of Pakistan General Asim Munir has once again accused Afghan nationals to be involved in carrying out terror attacks in Pakistan.
The army chief made the remarks during his visit to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where he met and held talks with tribal elders and representatives from all aspects of society.
Munir has also accused the interim Afghan government of violating the Doha agreement in which the Islamic Emirate has pledged not to allow terror elements to use Afghanistan’s soil against other countries.
The army chief acknowledged this involvement was detrimental to regional peace and stability.
This comes only days after the prime minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif said that the Zhob attack was carried out by Afghan nationals.
The Pakistani authorities accuse Afghan nationals of wrongdoings in Pakistan as the Islamic Emirate has always denied such claims and has termed them baseless.
Responding to the recent accusations of the Pakistani PM, the chief spokesperson of Islamic Emirat Zabiullah Mujahid said such remarks were detrimental to mutual and fraternity relations between peoples of the two countries.
