Zabiullah Mujahid, the chief spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has reacted to the sanctions imposed by the European Union on two ministers and the chief justice of the Afghan government.

Adding the names of some officials of the IEA to the list of sanctions by the EU is in the interest of no side, Mujahid wrote on his Twitter as reacting to the move.

The spokesperson has further said that interaction, dialogue, and understanding should be sought while terming the pressure and sanctions as failed experiences.

The EU has accused the acting ministers of education and justice and the chief justice of the supreme court of Afghanistan of human rights and gender-based violations including them in the list of 18 individuals facing the sanctions.
