Monuments’ Reconstruction Project Opens in Ghazni

Reconstruction project of six different historic monuments inaugurated in Ghazni province, the Ministry of Information and Culture of Islamic Emirate said in a series of tweets.
The ministry said that the project was ingurgitated by the deputy minister of Information and culture Atiqullah Azizi worth AFS 4.5 million which will cover the reconstruction of six monuments in the historic province.
Head of the Directorate of Information and Culture of Ghazni Province Hamidullah Nisar said the project is funded by UNESCO and will be implemented by ECSO.
The project will be headed and by local engineers of the Ministry of Information and Culture.
According to Nisar, the project includes reconstructing the historic monuments of Malikyar Parinda, towers of old Ghazni City, floor tiles of Ghaznawyan period minarets, and Taj Awleya.
