MOD: Security Forces Bound to Don Uniform

Security forces and all members of the National Islamic Army are strictly bound to wear the uniform unless they face the consequences, said the Ministry of Defense of Islamic Emirate.

The ministry’s spokesperson, Enayatullah Khwarazmy said the uniform has been distributed to all members of the army and those who violate the rules will be punished based on the rules.

According to the spokesman, the security forces of the Islamic Emirate are currently using the uniform of the previous Afghan army but added that they intend to make their own uniform.

Islamic Emirate National Islamic Army has over approximately 110 thousand members led by Fasihudin Fitrat, the chief of the army, and Muhammad Yaqoob Mujahid, the acting defense minister who is also the only son of Mullah Omar Mujahid, the founder of the Taliban.
