Islamic Emirate Begins Government Accountability Program

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan launched an accountability program during which all ministries and government administrations will be sharing their achievements and future programs with the media.

The program was inaugurated by high-ranking officials of the office of prime minister in the government information and media center Sunday.

Islamic Emirate is an accountable government and all ministries and administrations are committed to sharing their achievements, plans, and operations with the Afghan people, said the chief of staff of the prime minister, Mullah Abdul Wasi.

He also said that the government is supporting the media and asked the latter to be impartial and professional in covering the programs as the media act as a bridge between the government and the people.

First program of government accountability began with the program by the Ministry of economy in which the ministry shared its one-year achievements and plans with the media.
