IEA welcomes IsDB’s Humanitarian assistance with Afghans
Ministry of Finance of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has welcomed recent humanitarian assistance of the Islamic Development Bank with the Afghan people.
The IsDB has assisted $8.1 million through Afghanistan Humanitarian Trust Fund (AHTF) which will be spend on different health and agriculture related projects.
The ministry in a statement asked international organizations to design and implement their respective project based on the needs of people on the ground.
“The ministry expects all the organizations that works in humanitarian ground to design and implement their projects based on reality in the ground and priorities of people in need.” Reads part of the statement.
Finance Ministry has urged the implementing organizations of the projects to implement them with transparency so that problems of the people can be resolved.
The money will be implemented in the areas of food security, drinking water, health and agriculture by six different organizations.
