Abdulqahar Balkhi, spokesperson of the foreign ministry of the Islamic Emirate has welcomed the recent remarks of US President Joe Biden in which the latter claims that armed groups no longer exist in Afghanistan.

Balkhi on his Twitter wrote that these remarks deny the UN Sanctions Monitoring Team’s allegations about the existence of 20 different armed groups in Afghanistan.

The Islamic Emirate maintains the policy of not allowing anyone to use the soil of Afghanistan to harm others. Our actions in this regard are not due to the requests or support of anyone, including America.

While answering a question in a presser, Joe Biden said that the US with the close cooperation of the Taliban defeated Al-Qaida in Afghanistan and the groups have no presence in the country.
