Haqqani: We will Never Compromise on Our Sovereignty

Sarajudin Haqqani, acting minister of interior of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan addressing a gathering in the Garda Serai district of Paktia province said that the world wants to impose its demands in return for recognizing the current Afghan government.

Haqqani added that they will never compromise on the sovereignty of Afghanistan.

Abdul Matin Qani, spokesperson of the ministry in a series of Tweets quoted the acting minister saying as the world does not want to accept the Islamic Emirate as a proper government.

In his speech, Sarajudin Haqqani assured the Afghan people of security in the country while saying that the people are now confident in security forces to man security.

He also added that strengthening the Islamic government is their responsibility as the martyrs of the Islamic Emirate asked him to strengthen the government rather than protect their families after their deaths.
