150K Recruited into National Islamic Army: Defense Ministry

The Defense Ministry of the Islamic Emirate has said that they have so far recruited 150 thousand members to the National Islamic Army, the number which will reach 180 thousand by the end of the current solar year.

Officials of the Ministry participating in the government accountability program said during the past year, they have rescued thousands of people through thousands of operational and training flights.

While sharing the past year’s achievements and future ministry programs, the authorities added that they have confiscated 8 thousand and 418 units of heavy and light weapons and many unexploded materials.

 The ministry has also repaired and reactivated 50 thousand different military vehicles, including armored ones.

Building 50 religious’ schools across the corpses, evaluating the curriculums of 14 educational centers, activating a caring center for disabled people, and providing them with vocational and professional studies were counted to be the ministry’s achievements over the past 12 months.

In addition, the ministry has also generated 17 million Afghani through collecting rents from shops built on the defense ministry’s estate in Kabul, Balkh, Ghazni, and Nangarhar provinces.
